Wow, now it's even more depressing after reading that article. I can't believe it because Casey and I were JUST there on Saturday! There were HUNDREDS of people there, I even saw a couple tv stars! (including Kelly Packard, you know, mormon chick from Baywatch...haha.) Now what the heck are we supposed to do every year for Halloween??? Get our pumpkins at Ralphs or Vons? I don't THINK so!!
Oh, man, that is really sad! Poor family. I think we are all connected to Lombardi's on, you know, another level, because we were talking about it and all the memories on the day it burned. :) Seriously though, it's sad.Kelly Packard, eh? Yeah, I saw her at the mall a few times. And at Newhall 1st ward, actually. She's friends with the Kings. I remember her from California Dreams or whatever.
To think that just last week Tucker was having so much fun playing in all the attractions at Lombardi's. Life changes quickly.
I worked in the Emergency Operation Center at City Hall on Monday. I took 500 calls in 4 hours, people were going crazy. Over 100,000 people hit the city website in a day or two. Usually we get that in 3 months. I told everyone at work they should change the name of the fire to the Lombardi Fire, since most people are talking about that, not Buckweed. Dumb name. I had to take pictures of the homes that burned down in Canyon Country today. very sad, it was a tragedy.Gov. Schwarzeneggar is speaking in Valencia right now.
I was able to do some looting.
You always know the right thing to say Dad.
Ever since the riots, it's been his dream.
So Casey did you get to meet Arnie?
Check out the newspaper account! I'm in it!Dadhttp://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=df5t8cqm_6dp9d8n&hl=en
I could have met him or see him speak in person would be more accurate. I was too tired to go see him talk in the evening so I went home.
