Baby Maya

I was going to post this on my blog but apparently it's been marked as a spam blog so they locked it until they can verify that it's not. Whatever is up with that.

It was a quick, intense birth but everything went well and she's perfect!! Hopefully my blog will up and running again soon and I'll post more details later. I'm just tired. I should be sleeping but am kind of still riled up from how quickly everything happened.

Nate's Facebook status says "Nate has a new niece." That was 23 minutes ago.

Nate are you pulling a fast one or is there news?

That would make 2 pieces of family news that I found out about on Facebook...

Update: I heard the news. Congrats Carly and KC.

Notice the Bingham Fam link to the right? Yeah I started a blog. I figured I'd do SOMETHING while waiting for this baby. Of course, something other than taking care of my other child.

And yes, I'm still pregnant.

Just wanted to say....

Congrats to Dad! I heard he killed the competition in his ultrathon. First in his age group I believe? Quite the accomplishment! Way to go Dad. For an old guy with a gimpy arm you sure are quite the athlete.

To all you Laker fans

I went to the Lakers- Jazz game last night. I made it down to the 5th row by the second quarter. The guy sitting next to me was an NBA ref. Awesome game

At the end of the game I pushed all the 10 year olds out of the way to high five Lamar when he was walking through the tunnel. I was trying to get Kobe's sleeve that he always throws but I was too slow.

See if you can spot me in the background of Lamar's post game-interview (HD) . I'm moving across the aisle with a tan jacket. Right over Lamar's left shoulder

Random post

So today I was in the house and Cadence was outside playing in the backyard. I noticed she was being a little too quiet (recipe for disaster) so I looked outside and this is what she was doing;
She was just sprawled out on the ground talking to her posse, telling them to "yay down and go nigh nigh." Yes, her posse consists of that dang ugly baby and her stuffed animal of the day. Today it was that weird Laker dog.

Above is her attempt at saying cheese. At least it's not a scowl.

More Dad Running

Central Park and Harlem at EveryTrail

Map created by EveryTrail:Share GPS tracks

Duration: 1 hour, 39 minutes, 3 seconds
Length: 11.2 miles
Average speed: 6.8 mph

The above trip is a double loop through Central Park with a short run at the top into Harlem. Unforunately, my GPS ran out of power so it shows me stopping right three quarters through my second loop. I entered Central Park at the bottom. It was a Friday.

I ran Central Park the next day, on Saturday. It was raining but there were many fast runners.
Whitney Canyon to Oliveview Hospital at EveryTrail

Map created by EveryTrail:Share GPS tracks
Duration: 4 hours, 36 minutes, 10 seconds
Length: 21 miles
Vertical up: 7503.6 ft
Vertical down: 7524.1 ft
Average speed: 4.6 mph

The above was a tough run from Whitney Canyon into Newhall, crossing the mountains, descending into Los Angeles and emerging at Oliveview Hospital. It is in a figure 8 because I took different ways up and down both sides.
