Nuggets

Are they going to make it? National sports talk radio says "YES" -- Novitski's out.

The Mavs and the Nuggets could both make it. The Warriors have the roughest schedule of the group.

How about Lakers vs. Nuggets in the first round? Lindsay I had better hear about some serious drama in the Severts house if that does happen.

Lakers vs. Nuggets? I'd like to be at that game. what do you think Ryan?
Dad and I going to watch the Lakers play the Sonics this friday.

Serious drama, huh? Well, since it would be in the Lakers favor, I could certainly provide some support. Fair weather fan, yes, I am.

Nuggets or otherwise, it would be a shame for a team to win 50 games and not even get into the playoffs. When has that ever happened? Oh wait, never.

Yeah, I was pulling for the Lakers to win the other night both times against Golden State. It will be exciting to see what happens in the next couple of weeks. I'll admit, the Lakers have had Denver's number this season, but all the teams are so close in the West, I don't think any series is going to be a cakewalk for anybody. If the Nuggets and Lakers do match up, I might have to not talk with any member of the Crockett family for the entire series so I am not fraternizing with the enemy. Yes, that means you too, Lindsay.

P.S. Bob, congratulations on your race. Very impressive indeed. One questions...why in the world were you downing a big Mexican feast the night before the race?!!!

I was wondering the same thing Ryan. I mean, there is a Spaghetti Factory in the mall that they could have gone to, which would have been much better for his race, but Dad has some fascination with Los Hermanos...

Los Hermanos? I think I went there once in all my years in Provo.

3. Denver Nuggets-$81,612,568

As the third highest paid team in the NBA behind the Mavericks and Knicks, I think it would be sad if they didn't make the playoffs. FYI Brand & Kaman will be the playing the last 7 games or so. It is possible the Clips could actually win a game finally and spoil some playoff hopefuls in the West.

I'll take the fault for los hermanos, I chose it, so sorry Dad. But hey, a big plate of enchiladas always helps me the night before my 50 milers.

Psh yeah right.

kc - who?

Ooohhh...diss Rob.

kc, you're serious? the clips are going to play brand and kaman? why? risk them getting more injuries when their season is already down the drain?

tell ed lamb to tell elgin baylor to tell mike dunleavy he's crazy

Carly said...

i think the reason is because Brand's contract is up. He's itching to prove he can still play. Kaman's injury isn't that serious so that is not that big of a deal. Brand also can't wait to play with the best point guard ever, mr. smushy.

Who cares? Lakers win it all this year.

Why yes, I left that comment. I know a lot about basketball in case you couldn't tell.

Wow Carly. I didn't realize you read the sports page every morning. Impressive.
KC-the clips? pshhh.

Carly, I was thinking, that must have been Casey's comment. You watch Sports Center, huh? Trying to get your mind off something?
