What's the Deal with the Nuggets?

What's wrong with that team? Do they unravel and lose their cool during the 4th quarter of every game? Lindsay, you know this team. Can you explain it? Figures with thugs like AI and Melo, I guess.

Ryan I once heard from Lindsay that you get personally and seriously upset when the Broncos lose. I hope that is not the same with the Nuggets. If that's the case, I apologize for the trash talk. Don't hate me.

Rob wait 'til after games 3 and 4 and then we'll all offer Ryan our condolences. :)

Hmmm, I better explain before I get in trouble.

Ryan gets just as upset when his team loses as any other avid sports fan does when his team loses. It's just that Ryan doesn't get upset often so when he does it's more noticeable. It's not like he's in a firey rage. I was suprised when I saw him get upset over the Broncos for the first team, but let's face it, I'd only really known him about 6 months at the time. He doesn't get as upset over the Nuggets, it seems. :)

As for the Nuggets, I don't know what to say. I don't spend much time analyzing them, seeing as they're not MY team. (Although I don't analyze the Lakers, either, and I went to bed long before the game was over last night--I'm a diehard, aren't I?) I just know what I hear from Ryan--Melo needs to stop taking jump shots and they need to work on their defense. There, that's what I can say.

I think the Nuggets should just quit double-teaming Kobe and let him shoot the lights out; just concentrate on filling the lanes to the rim.

Well, we must all be blogging at the same time.

Ryan says he hears the Nuggets fans are going to be shouting "Set-tle-ment, set-tle-ment!" when Kobe goes to the line in Denver, so maybe that'll throw him off.

Casey said Kobe would run past the commentators saying how "hot" his hands were. Can you say...OBNOXIOUS??!!!!!

Yea Carly I hope Whitney doesn't see those clips. I'm trying to get her to LIKE Kobe and what he was doing last night will not help...at all.

Yeah, Kobe needs to keep his "guns" holstered. We was acting like a punk last night--no class. Just win and let that do all the talking. In my opinion, winners don't need to do all that garbage. My favorite was when he was screaming at the top of his lungs while performing the always pleasant, never annoying, never-gets-old, jersey-flipping thing. I was disappointed he wasn't doing the delightful chest-pounding tomfoolery.

I admit I do get pretty upset when my teams lose, but I wasn't very upset last night. The Nuggets didn't deserve to win; the Lakers have been the better team the first two games, period. I told Lindsay whomever wins Game 2 would win the series. I guess there's still hope, but the Nuggets need to play much better team defense (easier said than done) and quit shooting all those dang jump shots!! I do think they'll come out pretty fired up on Saturday night for all of Kobe's "mature" antics.

I was disappointed to see Lindsay go to bed WAY before the game ended. Fair-weather fan. Kobe for President!!!

I've never admitted this before and I'll probably be disowned by most of the Crockett fam (Mom especially), but if Kobe weren't a Laker...well, I'd be in Whitney's camp. But, I'm glad his talent is on the team, so I won't complain about his lack of class and obnoxious immaturity. Sorry guys, it's true. He's not exactly a golden boy.

Kobe just recently said he wants to stay a Laker. We will see, maybe if he's upset again he will speak differently during the next Steve Smith interview or with whomever. But for the time being it looks like he is here to stay. Kobe had an amazing game. I just wish he didn't have to do a loop on the court shooting his mouth off after each basket he makes. It is very annoying, you can almost see his head swelling....

Well apparently JR Smith had the gall to trash talk Kobe. You don't do that with Kobe. You just don't!!!

Are you guys saying that Kobe is the only player to strut and gloat out on the court? I don't think so.
All I know is he is an amazing basketball player with incredible determination. I appreciate that about him and ignore all the other stuff.

I agree, that is why I love O.J.

Carly said...

hahahah.....good one honey! Touchee!

Although I think O.J. has done a few worse things than Kobe.

Sure KC. That makes a lot of sense.

I KNOW! Did you see the way kobe was breathing that game?! UGh so annoying! He thinks he's so cool he has has to go around breathing and stuff... what a punk!

Google translation:
I am so jealous that the most amazing and easily the best player in the league that's having his best season, is not on MY team!

Sean said...

Oh and O.J. is much worse because he's not a clippers fan.

Kobe for MVP!!!!!
