Lakers - Celtics

So, considering the Lakers are basically part of our family, or at least Kobe seems to have been adopted in, I thought I would make a celebratory post for their finals berth. They are a lot of fun to watch and I'm glad I got to skip the bad / rebuilding years while on the mission. I remember going to the Lakers championship game against the Pacers in 2000 with Sean and Dad. Afterwords it was pure mayhem and destruction. I look forward to the same this year!
Note: This post was also meant to rub our victory in the faces of jazz/ san antonio fans.

Way to go Scott. I hope all the family members who are fans of the teams the Lakers left by the wayside aren't too bitter.
Davy, I've missed your comments.;)
I love basketball and the Lakers are very entertaining this year.

I'll never understand how they have room on the court for all the players AND Kobe's ego.

Alas, I guess by default I have to cheer for them. Go Lakers!

Carly, lay off the Lakers. They are going all the way!!! I already ordered my Lakers flag and license plate frame.

Carly, how are you even in this family with a comment like that? :)

I'm excited for them--although I didn't start paying much attention until the playoffs.

I think Kobe has worked hard for his MVP award and now for a championship. He's deserving.

Carly the Lakers don't need your pity support! They are fine without it! Actually, as I read what you said I realize that Whitney could have written the same thing. Kobe disgusts her but she roots for the team on my behalf.

Carly I'm pretty much okay with Kobe and his ego because he backs it up big time on the court with his incredible will to win.

I think someone has a crush on Kobe.

That's just sick.

but tadd might have a chance if the boston win the championship.

Tadd is rooting for The Boston?

All right, Owie! Great inaugural post.

Owen, why is your name owen fathead? It's a little self-deprecating.

debora said...

you know-its the Crockett sense of humor.

Owen answered the phone the other day and I thought it was Nate or Tadd. He's all grown up.

Do the four younger boys have brackets goin? How much is in it for the winner? I didn't know you guys gambled.

Carly said...

Will and Owen are the front runners. Casey can give you a full update. Hopefully it won't go down like last year; Owen cheated and erased his brackets to put in the winning teams. So this year they have copies. hahahaha.

mr. fathead forced me to make everyone use pens instead of pencils this year. The winner gets an all expense paid trip to In and Out. You out of staters probably would appreciate that more than us.

Lindsay said...

Tadd put the Celtics in to win? What kind of Lakers are you?!!

So Owen made everyone use pens when he was the one who cheated last year? Funny.

Good to see you on here, O-fathead.

Rob--you thought Owen was Tadd on the phone? Oooh, diss. Apparently you haven't talked to Tadd lately on the phone. His voice is so low I can't hear it.

Boston in seven.

Well, I thought I'd let you all know I'm a celtics fan.
