The refs are an absolute joke. There is a very small part of me that believes that the NBA is rigged and that the refs have regular communication with NBA league officials on how to call games. Hey, one ref was already caught for calling games he bet on. Where there is smoke, there is fire...Good to see a Cal guy playing great in the Finals. I saw Powe play a whole lot when I was in Berkeley. Undersized as a PF for the NBA but he was awesome in college.
Where's the faith? At least they rallied from a 22 point defecit (sp?) to ALMOST win. Maybe that will get them going.
Lakers still have a shot. Celtics have been horrible on road during the play-offs. I want Odom to fake a shoulder injury and be carried off the court, only to return in glory two minutes later.
Exactly! Paul Pierce---pshhhhhh.
Paul Pierce "backs it up big time on the court with his incredible will to win."
ha ha Ryan.
Ryan-I asked for that I guess, but please tell me you're not rooting for the Celtics. C'mon now.
I'm really just enjoying the matchup. I can't deny I am really excited to watch each game, even though I'm not a fan of either team. I remember when I was very young it seemed these two teams matched up every year in the finals. I always rooted for L.A. since Boston had won so many titles, and was happy when the Lakers finally broke through against Boston. That said, I've found myself rooting for the Celtics, only because they were the underdogs going into this matchup, and none of them have won any championships (except E.T., aka Sam Cassell). Kobe has three already. You don't want him to have as many as Magic has, do you? Lakers last won a title in 2002, Boston in 1986. Plus, I cannot stand Vukaleps or Vishisuk or Vujacic or whatever his name is.
